Those of you who have been following me since the beginning of the Wild & Free Blog will know that I’m slightly addicted to shooting at Lizard’s Mouth, located in the gorgeous mountains of Santa Barbara off of Hwy 154. I’m really excited to finally add this location to the new WIld & Free Blog in collaboration with Yensa Werth Photography.
Lizard’s Mouth always holds a special place in my life, as a sanctuary I can retreat to in order to clear my mind or calm down from a stressful day. From the top you can see all of Santa Barbara and Goleta stretched out against the beautiful ocean, and on a clear day, the Channel Islands glow in the distance.
Whenever I find myself at Lizard’s Mouth, looking down at Santa Barbara, anything that I thought was a major problem in my life seems to melt away. Just being surrounded by so much natural beauty really helps balance my emotions and bring everything into focus.
This trip to Lizard’s was no exception, as Yensa and I had way too much fun running around the rocks and chasing the light across the canyon.
