☾ ☆ Even though it’s September, summer in Santa Barbara seems like it’s here to stay. The past few weeks have been unbearably hot, so hot that I can hardly sleep in my room at night. Luckily, we have the ocean to cool us down when it feels like we’re about to melt.

As the beating sun began to set on the horizon, I took my photographer friend Ethan to Carpinteria Beach to play in the golden light and splash around in the waves. The ocean is so warm these days, it feels like we’re in a tropical island oasis rather than California.

Dressed in all black, I ran up and down the beach as Ethan tried to keep up. This purse from Sabaii has quickly become my favorite accessory and I adore the way it matches my Spell crochet set perfectly.

Wishing for an Endless Summer, that’s for sure.
