Trekking back to my favorite lookout in all of Santa Barbara for this week’s blog post, up on the always serene East Camino Cielo.
About a year ago on one fortunate adventure, I decided to hike up an extremely steep mountain to explore and stumbled upon this beautiful lookout. It truly is one of my favorites, especially during sunset because you can watch the mountains turn from blue to a gradient of light pink and purple. I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for these freakin’ rad pants from Flutterleigh.
When it comes to my personal style, I’m all about the hi-rise. Pants, skirts, shorts, they’ve got to go above my bellybutton or else I’m bummed. Being tall, it’s extremely hard for me to find pants that are high enough. As soon as I tried on these tie-dye wonders I was in love. They’re high (but also can be worn at your hips for those who don’t love “mom pants” as much as I do), light, comfortable and make your legs and butt look great. PLUS, even though they’re designed as a beach cover-up they look pretty stunning styled for a mountain adventure with gladiators.
I can definitely see how Lisa Summers, the designer behind Flutterleigh, created these to empower women. It’s not everyday you find a pant that looks and feels so awesome. Pretty sure I’m a die-hard fan now if you couldn’t already tell.
