I think it’s official that butterfly headbands have become a staple piece of Wild & Free Jewelry. They’re so fun to wear, especially with hair clips scattered throughout your mane, I can’t get enough! I want to make them in every single color.
I’ve been experimenting with the design, and have decided that all butterfly crowns should have an adjustable option with lace ribbon at the back for those who may be weary of ordering at a fixed size. This blue design, which I just published last night on my website HERE and Etsy HERE, also has the option to purchase with, or without the hair clips. I realize that not everyone wants to look super decorated like myself, so I’m trying to offer a little more variation for all of you magical pixies out there.
I decided to name this crown after my favorite place to shoot (which I go for nearly every post), Camino El Cielo, the mystical road so high up in the mountains that you feel like you are nearly touching the sky. The color of the butterflies camouflaged so well in this habitat, especially with my whimsical top from Auguste the Label (now only available in the ivory style HERE).
Remember, you’re never too old to play dress up. ♡
In addition to mentioning this new butterfly crown, I also want to send out a HUGE thank you to those of you who entered the Moonrise Creek giveaway over the weekend! I just announced the winner on the comment thread, on Insta, and she’s been e-mailed.
I hope all of you are off to a great start on this beautiful Monday. I’m off to make mermaid crowns and sew denim jackets, you know, the usual.
