The time has come to share the last of my New Zealand and Australia adventure! This one is extra special because it’s in honor of a brand I discovered right before I left the states, and while I was in New Zealand I had the opportunity to visit both their storefronts in Ponsonby and Mount Maunganui. If you adore bohemian clothing like I do, I’m sure you’ll swoon for the lovely Neon Gypsy.

Walking into the Neon Gypsy boutique in Ponsonby for the first time felt like I walked into a bohemian gypsy wonderland. The space also included designers like Spell, Kivari, Auguste and Tigerlily, nestled amongst green jungle plants, seashell decor and lace dreamcatchers. There I met Chloe, half of the duo behind the label, who welcomed us with open arms.

Chloe and her mother, Carole, are the creatives behind the emergence of Neon Gypsy. After selling their designs at markets and realizing they had quite the knack for catering a gorgeous bohemian collection that customers loved, the two decided to open up the first Neon Gypsy storefront in Mount Maunganui. Today they have two storefronts as well as a stunning website where customers can take a glance into Neon Gypsy’s magical world.

After meeting Chloe, I left the shop feeling incredibly impressed by her work ethic and professionalism as well as inspired by the beauty of the brand.

I then took my Neon Gypsy threads on our road trip through New Zealand’s North Island as well as on our stay in Byron Bay, Australia. The photos below are snapshots from those moments, featuring one of my all time favorite memories in life so far – the majestic rainbow sunset in Byron that I spoke of on Instagram.

After returning home and immediately jumping back into the full swing of things with Wild & Free Jewelry, this trip nearly feels like a dream.

Looking at these photos fills me with wanderlust and I hope my last three blog posts have inspired you to explore more of our stunning planet.

Sent with love from the Wild & Free Jewelry home office on a rainy California day.
