SOLANGE for Wild & Free Jewelry

Back in October I headed out to White Sands, New Mexico to shoot my favorite blue butterfly accessories. Accompanied by my friends Vanessa and Solange, we ventured into the vast sparkling sand dunes and watched the moon rise over the desert.

I’ve envisioned doing a photo shoot in this location for years and it felt as though everything aligned to create a pink cloud moon dreamscape, complementing the butterflies perfectly. Being at White Sands is like being on a different planet. This was my second time visiting and I feel as though the air and smell in the park is so unique. It’s a truly magical place and completely worth the trek from California to experience it.

Before our shoot in the dunes I had been envisioning a moon rise and pastel sunset conditions and to see it all come to life before my eyes was like a complete dream come true!
