Hi My Loves ❤️ I’ve realized I’ve been on a bit of a photo hiatus from this account. Back when I started, I used to post about three times a day and now I struggle to even get two photos up a week as my energy has been focused so intensely on Wild & Free Jewelry. As the years go by, it’s been getting increasingly difficult to run both of the full time jobs I’ve accidentally created for myself. It’s funny I almost didn’t realize that they really were two separate jobs until I split my account into two profiles a couple years back. So, I’ll be taking a short break from this account and will be working a lot on projects for my handmade accessory line & photo shoots behind the scenes for other brands. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks (and I’ll still share when I can on my Insta Story about labels I love and projects I’m working on). So happy to support my creative love @shopstardustbohemian and share this starry wonder of a top & matching choker with you✨🌟💫I love wearing clothing made by someone I know, it makes creating an outfit that much more special when you can imagine the person behind the threads and all the magic they sewed into the design.😍 In other news, I found this zodiac tapestry at a flea market and ever since I love staring at it on my wall. I can never decide if I really believe in astrology though 🤓🤗🧐 (I know, I know, super weird considering how obsessed I am with stars & the moon hehe 🙈). But, I’m curious, for those who are believers, what sign do you think I am? & what sign are you?! 🦋🔮🌙

Decided it was time to visit my favorite mountainside yesterday with this stunning @jodileedesigns purse. It felt so good to sit amongst the golden grass and watch the moon rise & the sky turn pink. 🌙☀️ (p.s. I tucked the camera remote into my shorts band for this photo so I could pose with both hands exposed 🤓😉 another sneaky trick for those of you who take your own photos like I do ❤️).

Last month, driving to Idaho was quite possibly one of my favorite road trips of all time. We abruptly pulled over for this photo while driving through the Grand Teton National Park because the lighting was sparkling gold as the sun set behind the jagged mountain peaks. I threw on this bridal set from @daughtersofsimone and instantly felt like a princess. ✨💫 I remember when I was a child and adults would ask me what I wanted to be when I “grew up,” I would tell them I wanted to be a princess. 🙈👸🏼Of course they would laugh and ask me again, hoping for a more realistic answer. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Looking back I find this fascinating because I really never gave up on the idea that I would grow up and be a princess, and now, playing dress up is part of my job, and while I may not be an actual princess, I sure end up feeling like one quite often. ✨🌙 No matter what people say, never give up on the things you wholeheartedly believed in during those early moments of life. Our inner child knows the truth and if you learn to listen, it’s possible life will turn into your own special kind of fairy tale. ✨

Enter The Magic Jungle ✨🌜 a mystical, powerful land fueled by the fire of creativity. A place that begins as a destination full of strangers and ends up feeling more like home. My last week in Mexico with @magicjungletulum shifted something within me. Having never been on a retreat of any kind I had no idea what to expect and holy smokes was I blown away! Each day we sat in a circle and took time to share aspects of our personal relationship with creativity and I found it so fascinating to listen to everyone’s unique story and perception. It seems that no matter the artistic avenue, there’s a universal truth that unites the mysterious creative force I’ve fallen so deeply in love with over the years ~ & that is that each person has a unique path and relationship to creativity. Some people begin to nourish their creative love young, while others find it later in life. There’s absolutely no wrong or right way to experience this, and I think we sometimes get caught up believing that there’s some kind of secret code that unlocks it all. 🌈 Perhaps the real golden rule lies in understanding that the creative life is full of twists & turns, ups & downs, feeling lost & feeling found. Memories from when I felt like an absolute jungle princess a few days ago in #tulum. 🌿🌴 I’ve finally made it all the way back to my cozy bed in California and I honestly feel like my brain is overloaded with beauty from my last week abroad. I don’t even know where to start telling the tale of the magic that ensued in this lush jungle. ✨ I traveled alone, then met up with the most amazing community of women who began to inspire me in ways I am still translating & deciphering in my mind 🔮💜. This photo is from a moment near the end of the trip when I had the opportunity to visit some stunning villas on the beach with my newly acquired soul sisters @anaisganouna & @polarsharkbear. We played dress up and frolicked around giggling as if we were kids again. 🦋 One of the many things this trip reaffirmed for me is that we’re never too old to play & embrace curiosity in the same way we did as children.
